Our welding machine and cutting equipment repairs, servicing and calibration department is a cornerstone of our business. Established in 1979, our service department has provided customers with dedicated after-sales support for over 45 years.

We have long believed that providing dependable servicing and repair facilities is an essential part of supplying professional welding and cutting equipment.

Experienced Service Engineers

Our highly qualified service engineers have many years of combined experience within the welding and cutting industry. Our dedicated, fully equipped diagnostic, repair and testing department is supported by an extensive stock of spare parts, allowing Philpott & Cowlin to provide comprehensive after-sales support to customers throughout the region.

On-Site Support & Replacement Equipment

On-site visits can be arranged for equipment repairs, annual servicing and the calibration or validation of welding machines to applicable BS EN standards, with certification and service reports provided where required.

Where spare parts need to be ordered, a suitable replacement machine may be available at a competitive hire rate. Our extensive hire range includes a wide selection of professional inverter welding and cutting machines.

Support for Other Welding Equipment

Integrity is first and foremost when dealing with the pitfalls of all repair work, especially in relation to breakdowns on modern sophisticated Inverter welding machines supplied by equipment distributors who outsource their repair work and are unable to support their customers themselves (even though they may claim they do).

While our after-sales service and repair facilities primarily support equipment supplied by Philpott & Cowlin, we are also happy to assist businesses experiencing problems with other makes and models of inverter welding machines, including equipment for which we are not the direct agent.
